I am currently an assistant professor in College of Information Sciences and Technology of Pennsylvania State University. My research interest lies in data mining, database systems, machine learning, and information retrieval. I am particularly focusing on mining spatial-temporal data .
I received my PhD degree from Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. My advisor was Prof. Jiawei Han. Before that, I received my Bachelor degree from Department of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2007. I interned at Microsoft Research at Silicon Valley in 2011, Facebook at Palo Alto in 2009, Yahoo! at Santa Clara in 2008 and Google China at Beijing in 2006.My Curriculum Vitae
