I am currently an assistant professor in College of Information Sciences and Technology of Pennsylvania State University. My research interest lies in data mining, database systems, machine learning, and information retrieval. I am particularly focusing on mining spatiotemporal data .
I got my PhD degree from Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012. My advisor was Prof. Jiawei Han. Before that, I received my Bachelor degree from Department of Computer Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2007. I interned at Microsoft Research at Silicon Valley in 2011, Facebook at Palo Alto in 2009, Yahoo! at Santa Clara in 2008 and Google China at Beijing in 2006.My Curriculum Vitae (updated Nov., 2016)
