IST 110 (002) Listserv
A Listserv conference is a special E-mail address that actually goes to a group of people instead of a single person. We have established the Listserv conference for use by IST-110 (002).
L-IST110-2@LISTS.PSU.EDU
1. Listserv Subscription Instructions:
Before you start, it is important to note that the conference only knows you by your E-mail address. So, if you subscribe with an E-mail address of abc101@psu.edu (in your E-mail From: area), it is important that all of your postings be made from that E-mail address.
* Note: For this listserv, we request you to subscribe with your Penn State email account only.
2. Steps to subscribe:
- Create an E-mail note addressed to LISTSERV@lists.psu.edu.
- In the body of
the note, you should put a line like the
following:
subscribe L-IST110-2 your-name-here
For example:
subscribe L-IST110-2 Alfred E. Neuman
- You may receive a
confirmation request through E-mail. This is the Listserv
server verifying that it really is you who sent in the
subscription request. Follow the instructions in the
confirmation note to complete your subscription.
If you encounter any problem, please send emails to Xun Ge.
3. Post to the listserv:
Once you have successfully subscribed to the listserv, you should send mails "to the list" by using the following address:
L-IST110-2@lists.psu.edu
4. Archives of L-IST110-2:
You can follow the instructions on the page Archives of L-IST110-2@LISTS.PSU.EDU to view archive files that have been posted.
