University

From 2005 to present Dr. Maitland has served on the application review team of Penn State's Schreyer Honors College. Together the team reviews hundreds of applications to this prestigious program and the high quality of the applicants makes the decision process a difficult one.

WISE is an institute dedicated to increasing the participation and retention of women in science and engineering disciplines. They also coordinate the WISE house, a living environment for women science and engineering students.
